Professional Journalism
Our group is looking at how the internet is affecting the professional world. More specifically we are going to look at professional journalism, and how the internet is changing it’s future. We chose to take this approach because each member of our group is a professional journalism major, and we believe it will be interesting to use this project to look into something that will be affecting our own futures.
The categories we are choosing to explore further are: The history of journalism and communication trends, the past, present, and future of newspapers, the role of citizen journalism on the professional world, the transformation of industry in relation to mobile devices and the way information is shared.
